Inpatient specialist palliative care beds

Consultant-led specialist palliative care provision. Currently16 beds open in Shrewsbury and 8 beds in Telford.

Hospital advisory team

Four hospital based CNS. Two at Royal Shrewsbury Hospitals and two at Princess Royal Hospital (Telford). Hospice consultants chair the Hospital MDT.

Community advisory team

Yes

A Community CNS Team operating 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Outpatient clinics

On both sites on Wednesdays with additional sessions organized on an ad hoc basis.

Lymphoedema service

Hospice GPwSpI led service with therapy provided by Hospice physiotherapists

Three days per week on each site.
