Community advisory team

9 Clinical Nurse Specialists and 3 Senior Staff Nurses. One Medical Community Palliative Consultant. Daily Visiting Service 9am 5pm, on call telephone advice service 5pm- 10 pm for and for health care professionals 10 pm until 9am.

Lymphoedema service

Yes

Nurse led outpatients clinic. 4 lymphoedema therapists. Monday – Thursday 08.30-17.00 Friday 08.30-14.30 (one evening clinic per month). Referral from health care professionals welcomed. Offer initial assessments, follow up appointments, Medical lymphatic drainage (Leduc method), and other Lymphoedema treatments.

Complementary therapies

Yes

Offers aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage and reiki to OPD, ward patients, bereaved relatives, lymphodema patients and main carers. Currently service is offered Mon-Friday 9-5pm
