Clinical Guidelines
The chemotherapy and radiotherapy guidelines are developed by the various NSSGs and depending on the nature of treatment may be either combined (i.e. chemo/radiotherapy) guidelines or stand alone. Guidelines necessarily need to be ‘live’ documents and, although they have planned updates, clinical information changes rapidly and guidelines may be updated between review dates.

This section is a simple list of treatments available within the Network
Chemotherapy Regimen Portfolio
This section contains the document which is technical in nature and provides information an administration of chemotherapy and the conditions in which the therapies are used. It is currently in development and will be revised with expanded sections to fit in with new requirements (for example this outlined in the report of the ‘NCAG’ group)
Cancer Therapies Committee decisions
This section contains advice from the Committee of the Cancer Therapies Committee. This committee reviews applications for the use of new technologies within the Network that have not been subject to review by NICE. The advice documents are one page statements summarising the main points backing any decision.
